Summer is almost over!
Summer is almost over and we didn't even have time for a vacation. Oh well guess we will take one in the fall. Finished alot of knitting projects and we got our Etsy store up and running. It is exciting to see what sells and comments. I did get to have a few craft days with friends and went to a concert so over all it was a relaxing summer.

Summer is going way too fast!
I am getting really bummed because this summer is going too fast. Pretty soon back to homework with the kid and all my teacher friends will be going back and not able to hangout anymore. We haven't taken a vacation yet or anything yet but my weekends have been quite busy getting together with family and friends. I will be really glad when this humidity goes away! I am going to see Grease (because it is the word!) with nieces and sisters this friday the sing along one. Then the next weekend It is Pat Benatar and Reo Speedwagon totally 80's flashback time. Need to start some projects soon but giving my hand a rest from knitting. Maybe I will finish at least one of my art journals.
My latest cards
I had to make a set of birthday cards for a card swap coming up and I just love my paisley cricut cartridge. I am finally getting to use the nesting dolls for something. I couldn't figure out how to make them open up maybe a friend could suggest something so I just connected them using a brads. They came out very colorful and I hope everyone thinks the saying on them is clever. Oh I didn't take a picture of the envelopes but they have a stamped doll in the bottom left corner of the envelope.

Infinity Scarves
I just got done making two Infinity scarves for a good friend of mine. They were quick to make and only took one skein of yarn to make. I made them 53 inches around and about 7.5 inches wide crocheted. I think these scarves will be very popular this winter along with the cowl scarves also. So we are ready for Fall!

Finished the Snuggle up Blanket
We recently changed the style of our tv room. We are going comtemporary now and it looked to plain so I wanted to throw some color in. I am aiming towards red but not too much. I thought if I had a nice throw I could lay across the dark brown leather sofa it would give some color to the area. I used the pattern called snuggle up #69 from a crochet book I believe it was a leisure arts book I purchased at Hobby Lobby. I used TLC yarn in the colors Barn Red, Golden, Dark Brown and Celery. I have always loved these colors together. So we are set to snuggle up on the coach and watch tv together.
