Finished the Snuggle up Blanket

We recently changed the style of our tv room. We are going comtemporary now and it looked to plain so I wanted to throw some color in. I am aiming towards red but not too much. I thought if I had a nice throw I could lay across the dark brown leather sofa it would give some color to the area. I used the pattern called snuggle up #69 from a crochet book I believe it was a leisure arts book I purchased at Hobby Lobby. I used TLC yarn in the colors Barn Red, Golden, Dark Brown and Celery. I have always loved these colors together.So we are set to snuggle up on the coach and watch tv together.

My lazy sunday

It is Sunday and I have so many things I want to do all at the same time! I want to crochet on a blanket that I am almost done with. I want to work on my new art journal and actually get some journaling done in it. I want to rearrange my bedroom and sit outside in my garden? I think if I had a craft room this could all be done but I have to do my projects in the appropiate spaces. So I guess I will just sit here looking at more blogs and getting inspired to do many new things. Maybe Monday will be the day I get some of these things done.

This is my garden nowadays

I am trying to make it more colorful and I took away the hot black table and chairs. There is only 2 chairs showing here but if anyone wants to join me there is plenty more chairs. Hint Hint.

Mother's Day Cards

I have alot of special friends that I wanted to say Happy Mother's Days to. They are extraordinary women who make a difference in this world and their children will prove this in the future. Hope each of them have a very special day and know they are loved.

Scrapbooking vacation picture time!

I just love these pictures of my husband and bully on the beach. Wanted them to have a page all to themselves. Photography is another hobby of mine especially with my Bullydog.

Already for the Birthday card swap!

I saw this saying in a magazine and thought it was so cute. So I did it up in my style of course with some help from my cricut and computer for the font. I like it so much hate to give them away. lol
The cupcake one didn't come out as I expected but loved the colors together.

A spring evening in my garden

I am just loving this weather! I went to home depot today and bought new veggies for my garden and a beautiful showbiz rose tree with deep purple flowers on it. I have sat outside in my garden almost every evening. I don't want this weather to end. It is inspiring me to do more crafts and to appreciate the beautiful world around us. This is my sanctuary.
